Charter Boat deep sea fishing off shore reef and
wreck fishing marathon Florida keys.
The team from Bulgaria, two young couple that came to the keys for a fishing
weekend. We run to the reef and set up for yellow tail and Snapper, in no time we had
plenty in the box to feed us all, we decided to go offshore in search for the big
Dolphin, after a short rehearsal as to how and what to do we run offshore. At 250’ and
7 mile offshore we found a weed line, we set four lines with the big guns and troll sum
distance from the weeds, in twenty minutes the 30TW Penn International screamed
and the fight was on, after 25 minutes we had the fish in the box. We run to the
Sombrero Dockside Lounge and we gorged on fresh Dolphin and ice cold cocktails. A
perfect end to a perfect day in the Florida Keys.

Hi my name is Melody and I’m a 19 year old from Omaha, Nebraska. I’ve been on some
pretty cool deep sea fishing trips before but this experience is one I will NEVER forget.
We started out catching yellowtail snapper and mangrove snapper when I hooked into
a huge fish. After about 40 minutes of circling the boat and fighting the fish I finnally
got it close enough to the boat to catch a glimpse. It was a big one. It took my line out
one last time and suddenly became suprisingly easy to reel. A couple seconds later I
landed the head of a 60 pound king fish. Apparently a shark decided that he needed
dinner more than I did. The coolest thing of all, was when the shark jumped 10 feet
away from our boat (I think it was Jaws)! What an experience!!!

I booked a one day fishing trip with Captain Nick through a recommendation on
“Trip Advisor”. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! Captain Nick has the
experience and knowledge to make your trip a success! My boys ages 8 and 6,
loved it so much at the end of the first day they begged to do it again! So we did
a second day and then a third. We caught fish about every two minutes or so.
Captain Nick was great with the kids. We pulled in 24 different species of fish,
that was really exciting. I highly recommend Captain Nick and “Reel Time Fishing
Charters”. We will be back. Linda.

We hooked up with Capt Nick for the second year in a row, we had a blast. The
first day we fished for Spanish Mackerel and Mangrove Snapper and had as
many as we wanted. The second day we landed a nice dolphin fish and what a
rush that was! Then my nine year old reeled in a 20 pound King fish. Another
rush! Capt Nick is ready to please and He is truly a professional who loves what
he is doing. We will be back again and again.
It was a short trip offshore with the CEO of High Tech Fabrications, Inc from New
Jersey. We run south to 250’ depth and started drifting four flat lines with live
bait, it did not take long to find action. In less then three hours we boated one
King fish, three Tuna, two AJ’s and one 40lb Wahoo. Not bad for a short
afternoon fishing.
I went fishing with Capt Nick a party of four(Dave,Carole, sharon and Paul) and
we were on the reef when a big Cobia swam up to the boat. The Cobia stayed
long enough to throw a jig to him and he ate it. We had about a fifteen minute
fight with a few Big Cudas following close and then a good gaff by Capt Nick
and the 57lb was in the boat.
We had a four day corporate charter with three experience veteran anglers from
High Tech Fabrications, Inc in New Jersey, Dave, Simon and John. I gave them
everything I had and it paid of, it can only be described as great fishing adventure.
The weather was good, we fished three days in the Gulf and one day in the Ocean.
We had non stop action every day, we released most of the fish, we only took
those that we wanted to eat on that day. By the end of the forth day I was ready or a
brake. It was a great pleasure fishing with this great anglers from Jersey.
